April 8th, was my older sister, Tami's birthday. I think I forgot to post because she is in Hawaii with her family, and I'm jealous. My sister is not only my sister but also my best friend. A little bit ago, Tami was diagnosed with Uterine cancer resulting in a full hysterectomy. It was scary for me to think that I might lose my sister or I may have to take care of her. She has been taking care of me for so many years, it was really strange.

Even though Tami and I did not talk much in our year from about 8 on, as adults, we have become close. When everyone else had given up and abandoned all hope (including myself), Tami was the only one who was there for me to pick me up, and put me back together time and time again. I could never begin to repay my sister for all that she is to me, but I hope I can be as good of a friend and sister to her. I love yah, Tam!

Ethan's first Easter Egg Hunt.... we went to Elmwood to see Gamma and Gampa Johnson for an Easter celebration. Once Ethan got the gist of it, it didn't take long for him to hunt out all of the eggs. It was fun, Grandma had Thomas Trains and candy & money filled eggs for Ethan to find.

Nov 2nd, big day!

Todd and Andrea have been married since 2003, and have been wanting a baby for so long! Andrea is pregnant and expecting November 2nd. Of course, I could not be more thrilled!

Well, Ethan woke up this morning with a fever and a barking cough. I know y'all think I'm the most paranoid mother in the world, and I sort of am. But, the pediatrician told me to bring him in if he ever has a cough AND a fever. It is never convenient to call in sick at work, but I did, made an appointment for Ethan and took him in. He has the croup. They hooked him up to the nebulizer and steamed away. At first, he thought it was cool like Darth Vader, but it was a nuissance about 2 seconds after that. Then, when he learned he wasn't allowed to remove it, he worked himself into such a frenzy he could barely breathe.
